ne Phelps earned a B.Sc. (1997), a B.Ed. (1998) and an M.Sc. Biology (2001) from the University of Ottawa. Anthony Francis earned a B.Sc. (1994), a B.Ed. (1995) and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in biology at the University of Ottawa. Anne and Anthony have been the principal consultants and founding partners of Waterwood Consulting Inc. since 1998. They have conducted habitat surveys and aquatic wildlife inventories and have monitored and evaluated ecological impacts of commercial operations in waterways in the National Capital Region. They have also been active in conservation ecology and wildlife research by conducting geomatic analyses of conservation priority areas for the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC) species.
